The ferry is booked, I have a 2man cabin reserved for one (my Royal Navy sea time was with 15-40 messmates – baked beans should have been banned!).
Sat 28th sailing, so a Friday trip on the A417/M4/A34 at peak times has to help with the Frankia notoriety 🚐🚗🚓🚛🚌🚙🚒🚜🚑?
I can now enjoy a slow-time drive (only option in Frankia) with pub stops on the Bristol to Portsmouth leg.
I’ve stocked Butane gas for heating on the van, did not know the propane stuff I use normally freezes quickly below zero. Great tip from Stu in Spain whose drove the route over the Spanish mountains a few times 👍
Anyone with advice for the Santander to Cartagena via Madrid route is very welcome to chip, I’d appreciate it.
With luck, no punctures, calm seas and ice free roads, I’ll make Cartagena before they pass Article 50 😂😂
