Learning to blog is helping improve my below par communication skills, with a bonus of being in touch with a widening circle of fascinating folk.
Contacts made through posts on the FB Housesitter site and on the road have been a blessing. Recent updates from some (and a new blog in the wind) seemed to make a good page……Tali is House Sitting in Vancouver for a few months. It was her suggestion/fault I blog. We’ve never met, but it’s been really good to hear her feedback and have her encouragement. Tali’s travels and stories will be a must ‘follow’ from the shared stories I’ve read so far. I’m looking forward to the publishing of it soon and then reading Tali’s blog:- www.prettybrownnomad.com
My Portsmouth/Santander Ferry friends are roaming Portugal, as you do, and are currently visiting Mina de Sao Domingosthey’re provisions shopping is a meticulous balance (bike stability rather than wholesome goodness – it wins my admiration). Arnie & Carol are an inspiring couple, I hope I bump into them (and mascot Kev) again soon.
My cousin in Wales has just sent pics of her new Motorhome, she already gives us all a ‘run for our money’ as a traveller. A lady who ⛷🚵🏻♀️🏋🏼♀️🏸🚣🏼♀️🏃🏻♀️ 👊🏽 Recent cruises to Vietnam/HongKong and next months Abu Dhabi cruise, mixed in with her time spent roving her old caravan haunts and finding new ones – it will take some keeping up with, amazing woman, 🚐 go Joan!
Extending this page with updates and with new blogging/travel mates would be great. Hopes are high, my improved communication skill is a desperate need 🗣
It would have been far simpler to forget the milk… then it’s easy with a straight 5litres each side. The shelf bit looks like the stuff with fly out at the first bump!

It’s advice Arnie & Carol might take – I’ve got zip-up saddlebags on my old roadie.
