Georgian Bay, Penetanguishene

The stay in Ajax (Toronto) is done and the scenic two hour trip to Penetanguishene enjoyed. My bags are unpacked in my new home for three weeks. The house is fantastic, hi-tec controls, an entertainment room with layzee boy armchairs, and a pontoon onto Georgian Bay to sit with a beer.

My Mercedes (soft top sports) is ready for a spin. I will drop Joan and Kevin off at the airport tomorrow in itsitting at breakfast watching a little wildlife I made a start on Kevin’s book.Kevins music (available on CD) is playing in the background. A talented man who has Royal Navy service in common with me. Swopping stories about our ships and experiences with a few ‘tinnies’ is brilliant. Hearing how he and Joan ran a highly successful business amazes me.

Joan has left a pack with info I might need about the house and the area. She has made some great meals and filled the house and my room with everything I might need, perfect. The boys who will keep me company for a few weeks are happy chaps

The town walks around the harbours and the cycle paths along the coast look amazing from the drop-top Merc. I can’t wait to get the bike out and explore.

Kevin’s website is well worth a visit:
